Source and scope
This page combines Plano ISD’s official 2026-2027 graphic calendar with its English text calendar dated April 20, 2026. Student attendance dates, graphic labels and grading-period arrows were checked against the text calendar’s event list, regular hours, early-release and exam-dismissal schedules, and instructional-day totals.
Student events follow official labels and ranges. October 12–14, October 15, October 16, Winter Break, January 4, February 15, February 16, March 26 and March 29 are separate events; breaks preserve the combined student no-school periods for family planning. Thanksgiving week follows the text calendar, with the graphic calendar’s trade-day labels noted separately. Early-release notes distinguish elementary/listed early-childhood dismissal from secondary exam schedules, including the middle-school last-exam-day restriction. Faith acknowledgements and staff-only dates before the first student day are excluded because they do not change regular-year attendance. Events and key dates use field-level provenance rather than an object-wide basis: official means a directly printed date, label or range; derived includes normalized names, internal event classifications and attendance-status mappings, as well as calendar relationships. Grading-period end dates and day counts cite the text calendar; start boundaries follow the graphic calendar’s grading-period arrows and ranges. Event notes are editorial paraphrases or source comparisons, so they use noteBasis=derived and cite their supporting official documents in noteSourceIds. October 16 and February 16 staff-label differences are recorded in sourceDiscrepancies without changing student attendance dates. The graphic grading-period legend is not an event-specific officialLabel.
Plano ISD publishes graphic and text calendar formats. This page follows the reviewed 2026-2027 documents; later-year files and any revised schedules require separate verification.
