Collegiate Academy of HEB ISD 2026–2027 Calendar

The Academy's first school day is Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Fall TCC classes begin August 17, but that later date is not the first day of Academy classes.

Friday, May 21, 2027, is the last regular Academy student day, with early dismissal at 12:15 p.m. The regular HEB ISD district calendar ends May 26, but the Academy does not follow that end date.

Summer break begins after the Academy's 12:15 p.m. early dismissal on Friday, May 21, 2027. Camp Collegiate on May 25–26 is a separate event for incoming ninth graders, not an extension of regular classes.

The Academy returns from Winter Break January 11 instead of January 5 and finishes school May 21 instead of May 26. It also has different October, November, February and April attendance dates and its own early-release schedule. Families should follow the calendar for their student's campus.

The six periods are August 12–September 18, September 21–October 30 and November 2–December 18, 2026; then January 11–February 19, February 22–April 8 and April 12–May 21, 2027. The printed calendar lists these separately from TCC course dates.

The Academy calendar gives the end dates for each six-week grading period but does not list report-card posting dates. Check school grade-reporting announcements rather than treating a grading-period end date as a report-card release date.

The Academy schedule works out to 174 planned student attendance days, based on 203 weekdays between August 12 and May 21 minus 29 scheduled no-class weekdays. The six printed grading-period counts also total 174. Camp Collegiate takes place after the regular student year and is not included.

The Academy calendar lists Monday, August 17, 2026, as the first day of fall Tarrant County College classes. Academy classes begin earlier, on August 12.

Camp Collegiate is listed for incoming ninth graders on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 25–26. It takes place after the Academy's last regular student day on May 21. Contact the campus for camp hours and arrival instructions, which are not provided in the instructional PDF.

The calendar identifies March 26 and May 15, 2027, as staff-only inclement-weather make-up dates. They do not establish additional scheduled student attendance days. March 26 remains a student holiday, and May 15 is a Saturday. Follow district announcements for any later schedule changes.

Check HEB ISD's Weather Closings / Urgent News page and official district communications. Closure messages are also sent using family contact information on file with the district. HEB ISD says it does not send notices when schools follow their regular schedule.

The Academy's 2026–27 instructional PDF does not give a graduation date or time. The KEYS, Trinity and L.D. Bell graduation dates on the regular district calendar are for those schools, not confirmed Academy graduation dates. Check Collegiate Academy announcements for ceremony information.
